We are delighted to announce The Velveteen Bath House has been shortlisted for another award! This time it’s the prestigious Yorkshire Post Tourism Awards 2026.
We have been shortlisted in the ‘Holiday Rental of the Year’ category alongside 6 other deserving accommodation suppliers.
To be shortlisted for these awards is particularly rewarding as the awards cover the whole of Yorkshire. We are absolutely thrilled to be included this year as a relative newcomer to the scene.
We want to say a huge thanks to everyone who helped us create The Velveteen Bath House – from our initial vision to the welcoming and warm holiday home it is today there were so many tradesmen and businesses involved.
And a big thank you to all of our gorgeous guests over the last 3 years. It is a genuine delight that you have all shared in our story and our love for Helmsley and the North York Moors.
The awards ceremony will be held in Leeds on 30th November 2026. Good luck to everyone nominated!
